Midwest Air Source Heat Pump Collaborative Toolkits
- Low-Income Toolkit for Program Administrators
This toolkit contains resources to help program administrators develop and implement heat pump programs for low-income customers. It covers essential aspects such as program design, funding sources, communication strategies, customer support, and more, aiming to ensure equitable access to heat pump technology for underserved communities.
- Local Government Toolkit
This toolkit contains resources for local governments looking to develop heat pump programs. From municipalities just starting to explore heat pumps to those with existing heat pump engagement, these resources aim to inform local governments wherever they are in their heat pump journey. Three different versions of the toolkit were created, tailored to needs of distinct audiences. First, the elected officials and executive officer version provides a broad base of information to inform program design considerations. Second, a municipal staff version informs city staff on relevant heat pump benefits, technical considerations, and intersections with permitting and existing programming. Third, a local resident and business version was created with need-to-know information on this emerging technology to save on energy bills.
- Contractor Training and Summit Toolkit
This toolkit contains resources to assist program administrators in organizing contractor training sessions and industry summits to improve program impact and engagement.
